Background; The kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen, known also by its ordnance inventory designation Sd.Kfz. 265, was the German Army's first purpose-designed armoured command vehicle; a type of armoured fighting vehicle designed to provide a tank unit commander with mobility and communications on the battlefield. A development of the Army's first mass-produced tank, the Panzer I Ausf. A, the Sd.Kfz. 265 saw considerable action during the early years of the war, serving in Panzer units through 1942 and with other formations until late in the war. $30

Original WWII German death card for Franz Lindbauer who was a Fallshirmjäger killed in the Battle of the Bulge 9 January 1945 in Luxemburg. From the German War Graves Commission "Franz Lindlbauer is now resting in the war cemetery in Sandweiler among the unknowns. He could not be unequivocally identified during the remodeling work in the original grave site, so he was buried as an "unknown soldier" in the Sandweiler Cemetery. Name and personal data of Franz Lindlbauer are also listed in the memorial book of the Kriegsgraberstatten. You are welcome to order an excerpt from us. Original WWII period German photograph of honour guards on duty protecting The Feldherrnhalle with officials touring above and the addition of Third Reich symbolic statues to the original architecture. Background; The Feldherrnhalle ("Field Marshals' Hall") is a monumental loggia on the Odeonsplatz in Munich, Germany. Modelled after the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence, it was commissioned in 1841 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria to honour the tradition of the Bavarian Army. In 1923, it was the site of the brief battle that ended Hitler's Beer Hall Putsch. During the Nazi era, it served as a monument commemorating the deaths of the 15 Nazis and one bystander killed during the revolt. The photograph also shows period use of the Feldhernhalle helmets. *Sold*
