#EC140 Estonian FN High Power Pistol Holster
Original WWII Estonian holster for the FN High Power 9x19mm Parabellum pistol. Estonia purchased 120 FN Hi-Power pistols in 1936 for police, and another 5,338 in 1937 for the military. All were ordered without shoulder stocks and holsters. The Tallinn State Arsenal made 3,150 shoulder stocks and only 500 holsters. These 500 holsters were converted from FN Model 1903 9mm Browning Long pistol holsters. The holsters were patterned after the Belgian military FN High Power holster adopted in 1935/1936 for troops who were not issued shoulder stocks. This configuration was quickly abandoned and the holsters were converted to standard belt use by separating them from their shoulder stocks and adding a flap closure strap & belt loop. These holsters were captured and used by the Germans after they invaded Estonia in the summer of 1941. The holes for the shoulder stock mounting rivets are still present as expected on the rear of the holster. In moderately used condition but nonetheless complete with no damage. Information on these holsters can be found in 'FN Browning Pistols: Sidearms That Shaped World History, 3rd Edition' by Anthony Vanderlinden (Vol. I: Pages 350-351/400/406 & Vol. II: Page 715). An extremely rare holster considering only 500 were ever made and went through the war. $500

Original WWII German 1933 Police marked P08 Luger holster. This holster has been period modified with improved WWII style closure strap, the modification is clearly period done and may have been done at unit or arsenal level for easier opening and closing. The holster is nicely maker marked from a Berlin maker and dated 1933 on the reverse. This holster is in great shape having likely served the police for the entirety of the Third Reich period. $375

The holster is complete including pull strap present on the interior, spare mag pouch, and takedown tool pouch.
